How to Lose Weight Quickly

To loose weight is not as hard as most people think! It is easy to lose weight, but to maintain ideal weight is another thing. A common practice of people who want to lose weight is to go on a “diet.” The stricter the diet (lower calories), the faster they lose weight, and lose weight they really do! But oftentimes, the weight loss is very temporary. Once the strict diet becomes boring and tiresome they tend to go back on their old way of eating result? The fat they lost will go back again.

Burn more calories than you consume, count calories and keep a food diary, go on a diet Cut down on sugar high fructose corn syrup, trans fat and saturated fat. Burn more calories by exercising; run, walk even exercise at the computer you are sitting in front of now.

Choose a healthy diet this doe not contain excessive quantities of fat, sugar or salt, and that provide enough vitamins and minerals for the body to function at peak efficiency. Don’t go on for a crash diet because your body is slowly adapting changes in your food preference.

Perform high-level aerobic activities moderate aerobic workouts incorporating jogging, brisk walking, cycling, aerobic machines, or classes not only burn calories they also keep your heart healthy. Swimming is also great, especially if you are quite overweight or have joint problems, because you can get the same benefits of running typically burning even more calories. Medical Recommendations

Latest medical recommendations to get rid of acne

Acne is characterized by minor, though occasionally severe, skin-eruptions due to inflammation around the sebaceous glands. Most prominent on the face, upper chest, to back, the sebaceous glands secrete sebum, a thick, oily substance that lubricates the skin. Acne develops when sebum flow is blocked by skin cells, dried sebum or bacteria. Bacteria normally found on the surface of the skin may then infect the whitehead or blackheads, produce pus, and cause an eruption (pimple).

Acne is due to hormonal changes puberty, resulting in increased sebum production, hereditary factors, certain drugs or compounds, including corticosteroids, iodides, bromides and lithium. Other factors including climate changes, stress and exposure to disease.

It is most common during adolescence and can cause considerable psychological distress. Eruptions tend to wane by one’s 20s, but they may persist. Acne is generally harmless and responsive to treatment.

There is no evidence that dietary modifications (such as avoiding chocolate or greasy foods) will reduce the incidence of acne in those so predisposed. Picking or squeezing acne lesions may increase the danger of infection and scarring.

HOW TO TREAT IT?

v .Regular washing of the face and unscented soap to remove excessive oil is recommended. However, over washing can irritate skin, making acne worse.

v Topical solutions that dry the skin, promote peeling and kill bacteria usually improve acne. Over-the-counter preparations most commonly contain salicylic-acid or benzoyl peroxide.

v Several different preparation forms of synthetic vitamin A (Retin A, Differin, and Tazorac) can be administered topically.

v In more severe cases, topical or oral antibiotics like tetracycline and erythromycin may be prescribed.

v For severe cases resistant to antibiotics, an oral vitamin A derivative drug. Acutane, may be used, but this drug is contraindicated for pregnant women since they may damage to the fetus. Other potential side effects; people taking it must be closely monitored by physician, usually with monthly visits and blood tests.

v After acne has been fully controlled scars can be treated with standard or laser surgery or a resurfacing procedure called dermabrasion.

How to Save Money?

When it comes to their financial well-being, one of the biggest problems that many people face is how to save money. Nowadays, most people are spending out much of their moneys especially when they are midnight sales in malls christmas is coming up so what will you expect?more and more sales are right behind every malls. But try to figure it out be more practical in spending out your money, yes there may be jobs but these things are not permanent global economic crisis is still arising. Here are some tips on how to save money:

Step 1:

Make a Budget

  1. Time Frame: Before you start your budget, you will need to decide on the time frame that you will use. Is yours going to be a monthly budget, a quarterly budget or a yearly budget? The most popular time frame is usually monthly (due to the fact that most bills come once a month), so that is what we'll use for this exercise.
  2. Income: The first thing that you'll need to do when coming up with your budget is to figure out exactly how much income you have coming in. This should include your monthly salary (after taxes) and any supplemental income you may have coming in (from additional jobs, investments or other income sources). If you are in a salaried position, simply divide your yearly income by 12.
  3. Expenses: Here is where things get interesting. Now that you've calculated how much money you have coming in each month, you'll need to figure out exactly how much you spend during the same period. While some expenses remain constant and are easy to figure out (Rent, Car Insurance, Car Payments, Phone & Cable Bills), others are not so easy to pin down. Expenses such as utilities, gas, food and entertainment may change from month to month, so the best way to figure them into your budget is to come up with a monthly average for each one. Over a three month period, keep a record of how much you spend on each of these things and then figure out, on average, how much you're spending each month. Add up all of these things to come up with a monthly total of your expense
  4. Calculate the Surplus: Now that you've figured out your monthly Income and Expenses, you can start to determine how much you have left over for savings. Simply subtract your monthly expenses from your monthly income to find out how much surplus money you have coming in each month.
  5. Keep Records: While writing out your budget on a piece of scrap paper once every year or so may seem like the easiest way to go, it is wiser to keep a continuing record of your expenses, income and savings somewhere that is permanent and can be easily updated.
Step 2: Start a Savings Plan
Set goals: The best way to figure out how much you want to save is to set specific monetary goals. If there is a specific thing that you are saving up for, start by calculating how much you will need to save in order to pay for it.
Keep Track of Your Finance: The best way to make sure that your savings plan is on track is to keep a close eye on your spending. This can include monitoring your ATM withdrawals, keeping a copy of your bank statements, collecting receipts from your entertainment spending and updating your budget to reflect changes in your income or expenses. Not only can this help you identify where your money is going, it can also keep you up to date on how much money you are saving.

Step 3: Open a Savings Account

  • One of the most basic tools that you can use to help manage and further your savings goals is, of course, a savings account. Not only do savings accounts provide a safe, secure and convenient place for you to store the money you've saved, they can also (in certain instances) even help build your savings. If you don't have a savings account, it's time to set one up! If you already have a savings account, keep reading to make sure that you have the right one to meet your needs.
Conclusion:
Know when to spend your money and spend it the most important thing that you need. Be practical and Be wise in spending our your money.

What is DM?

First of all I wrote this kind of article because I can actually relate to it, because it is my father's disease, specifically this kind of disease may be a genetic factor and its diet modification.

Diabetes Mellitus what we call, it is a metabolic disorder with abnormally high blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia) as its most prominent feature. Insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, controls the level of glucose in the body by regulating the production and storage of glucose.

Types of Diabetes
  • Type 1 diabetes -IDDM (Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus), it is controlled by daily injections of insulin, it is necessary to control blood sugar and strict diet modification.
  • Type 2 diabetes-NDDM (Non-insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus), it more on diet modification, oral hypoglycemic drugs such as, tolbutamide, chlorpropamide, glipizide, glimepiricide.
3P's manifestations of diabetes
  • Polyuria (frequent urination)
  • Polydipsia (increased thirst)
  • Polyphagia (increased appetite)
other symptoms include fatigue and weakness, sudden vision changes, tingling or numbness in hands or feet, dry skin, skin lesions or wounds that are slow to heal and recurrent nfections.

an example of a gangrene foot of a diabetic client

Management
  • People with diabetes should practice good foot care and check their feet everyday. Nerve damage from DM reduces sensation in the feet, and small foot problems may turn into major infections.
  • Blood glucose monitoring is very important to check if the client is suffering from hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia
  • Diet modification and lifestyle modification
  • Proper exercise
